2008 Add It Up & Win Campaign Summary & Toolkit
The CTR Office is again partnering with Spokane Clean Air to bring you Add It Up & Win in January. The Add It Up & Win campaign stems from It All Adds Up to Cleaner Air, a year-around community education initiative designed to reinforce the message that individual actions, when taken collectively, can positively impact air quality in our community. During winter, levels of carbon monoxide and fine particles can be elevated, due to a combination of factors. Vehicles do not run as efficiently in cold weather and?winter road conditions and the dark slows traffic.
There are many things employees can do to help our air, such as, use a commute alternative to work, combine errands into one efficient trip, avoid idling the car and when heating with wood, burn a small, hot fire using dry, seasoned wood. To help educate your employees about wintertime air quality challenges, and encourage people to take clean air actions, please use the following downloadable files to promote the Add It Up & Win campaign. Every day your employees use a commute alternative, their name will go into a drawing for one of fifteen $20 Aunties Gift Cards and one of fifteen $20 Motion Auto gift cards. At the end of the January campaign, your employees will have the chance to win one of three $250 Visa Cash Cards in the grand prize drawing. The more they participate, the more chances they have to win! Don't forget to utilize our confidential ridematching service at www.RideshareOnline.com. Employees can get immediate results and be a step closer to carpooling or vanpooling.
