RideshareOnline Success Story!
11/01/2007

Rarely needing her car and wanting to set a good example for employees to follow, Gayle Tucker, ETC at the City of Spokane – Public Safety, began looking for a carpool partner. Knowing other employees who lived in her neighborhood, Gayle found only one employee whose schedule and work requirements allowed her to carpool. Unfortunately, they only carpooled for a short time because her schedule changed.

About the same time, the RideshareOnline.com campaign started. In order to assist employees and possibly being able to find a carpool partner, Gayle registered. With an immediate response back, she had four matches. For various reasons, none of them worked out. Then one day, Gayle received an e-mail from RideshareOnline.com with another match. Contacting the match, she found out she not only was a fellow employee, but she lived right down the street. Gayle could see her house from her front window and walks her dogs passed her house frequently.

“If it weren’t for RideshareOnline.com, I wouldn’t have ever known that this employee lived down the street,” smiled Gayle.  She now enjoys the companionship on the way to work, has developed a close friendship with her carpool partner, she saves money and sets a great example for employees to follow.

RideshareOnline.com is a confidential on-line ridematching service offered to any resident in the Spokane area. If you would like to start carpooling or you’re looking to join a vanpool, go to RideshareOnline.com to register. Give it a try! You could be as lucky as Gayle!
